Ayurvila follows a far more traditional and medically focused approach to Ayurveda than many wellness centers found across Europe. While some retreats adapt Ayurvedic practices into lighter spa-style experiences, Ayurvila is built around authentic Kerala Ayurveda, where personalized treatment and clinical guidance remain central to the experience.
Each guest begins with Nadi Pariksha, a traditional Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis carried out by the resident Vaidya, or Ayurvedic doctor. Based on this consultation, every programme is individually designed according to the guest's Dosha, current imbalances, and personal health goals rather than using standardized wellness packages, reflecting a more personalised approach to preventive health.
The retreat’s therapists are trained in the Kerala lineage and certified in Yoga Chikitsa, also known as clinical yoga therapy. Oils, herbs, and medicated preparations are imported directly from India to maintain authenticity and treatment quality. Guests also practice inside one of Mallorca’s largest yoga shalas, a spacious 180 to 200 square meter studio with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the surrounding mountains.
To preserve a calm and highly personalized environment, guest capacity is intentionally limited to just 14 people at a time. This allows the Ayurvedic doctor to meet guests daily, meals to be carefully adapted to each individual’s constitution, and the atmosphere throughout the retreat to remain genuinely peaceful and restorative.
Ayurvila offers six specialized Ayurvedic programmes, each designed to support different health and wellness goals such as detoxification, stress recovery, and healthy aging. Among them is Panchakarma, the complete classical Ayurvedic cleansing and renewal system known for its deeper and more intensive healing approach.
Every programme begins with a detailed medical consultation to assess the guest’s individual condition and needs. At the end of the retreat, guests also receive a personalized wellness plan designed to help them continue supporting their health and balance after returning home.
Detox & Slimming The Metabolic Reset
Who it is for: Anyone carrying metabolic weight that will not shift, feeling sluggish despite reasonable effort, or ready to flush years of accumulated toxins and restart their digestive system properly.
Duration: 7 days / 6 nights
What is included:
- 18+ personalised treatments, including Udwarthana a traditional deep-tissue herbal powder massage that works directly on the lymphatic and metabolic system
- Initial and final consultations with the resident Vaidya
- Daily yoga, Pranayama, and meditation
- Organic detox meals, metabolic teas, and herbal infusions
- Full Dosha diagnosis and 100% doctor-led customisation
Starting from €2,000 per person
This is not a crash cleanse. Udwarthana is one of Ayurveda's most specific treatments for metabolic stimulation it is physically intensive and clinically prescribed. Combined with the dietary protocol and daily yoga, the program is designed to get the digestive system actually working the way it should again while supporting metabolic health and long-term vitality.
Stress Management The Nervous System Reset
Who it is for: Professionals and executives dealing with burnout, anxiety, broken sleep, or the kind of chronic low-level stress that has become the background noise of everyday life.
Duration: 7 days / 6 Nights
What is included:
- 15+ treatments anchored by Shirodhara, where warm medicated oil flows continuously over the forehead in a slow, steady stream
- Specialised head massage therapies
- Yoga Nidra a guided practice that brings the nervous system into a state of deep rest without sleep
- Pranayama breathwork specifically calibrated for adrenal recovery
- Sattvic meals, daily stress assessment, and a 'Zero Decisions' environment throughout
Starting from €2,000 per person
The 'Zero Decisions' principle deserves a moment. For a week, every choice what you eat, what happens next, when you rest is made for you. For people who spend every working hour making decisions, removing that load is not just a comfort. It is part of the treatment. Most guests notice the shift in their nervous system by day three.
Rejuvenation & Beauty The Inner Glow
Who it is for: Those noticing the visible and physical effects of accumulated stress — in skin quality, energy levels, and overall vitality and wanting to address the cause, not just the surface.
Duration: 7 days / 6 Nights
What is included:
- 12+ treatments, including Mukhalepa (Ayurvedic herbal facial) and Pinda Sweda (warm medicated herbal poultice massage)
- Ayurvedic beauty and cooking workshops
- Daily yoga and meditation
- Skin-nourishing, Dosha-specific meals
Starting from €2,000 per person
Ayurveda does not treat beauty as a topical problem. The approach here works on Agni (digestive fire) and the quality of the blood because lasting skin health and vitality come from internal balance. What guests experience externally is a reflection of what is happening internally. The results, where they come, tend to be more lasting because of it.This philosophy shares much in common with retreats dedicated to healthy aging and long-term wellbeing, where sustainable vitality is prioritised over short-term results.
Panchakarma The Master Cure
Who it is for: Anyone ready for serious clinical work chronic conditions, autoimmune issues, gut disorders, or a deep cellular reset that a 7-day program cannot reach.
Duration: 14 days / 13 Nights
What is included:
- The classical 'Big 5' purification protocols: Virechana (purgation), Basti (medicated enemas), Nasya (nasal administration), Vamana (emesis), and Raktamokshana (bloodletting)
- Intensive daily specialised treatments approximately 2 hours per session
- Internal Ayurvedic medicine: medicated Ghee and prescribed herbal preparations
- Daily yoga, meditation, and Pranayama
- Organic Dosha-specific meals throughout all clinical phases
Starting from €3,400 per person
Panchakarma is Ayurveda's most complete system. Many people are drawn to Panchakarma because its focus on detoxification, recovery, and balance is intended to support healthier aging from within. Over 14 days it works at a cellular level clearing the Ama (accumulated toxins) that shorter programs cannot reach, rebalancing the digestive and immune systems, and resetting the nervous system from deep within. Guests preparing for Panchakarma receive instructions at least two weeks before arrival. This is a clinical requirement, not a formality.
Ayurveda Holidays The Gentle Escape
Who it is for: First-timers curious about Ayurveda, or anyone wanting a restorative break with enough structure to feel genuinely supported but enough free time to explore Mallorca.
Duration: 7 days / 6 Nights
What is included:
- 9 traditional treatments, including Abhyanga (full-body medicated oil massage)
- Morning yoga and meditation
- Full-board Ayurvedic meals throughout
Starting from €1,700 per person
This is Ayurvila's gentlest program. The lighter treatment schedule means more afternoons free for a drive to Porto Cristo, a walk to a hidden cala, or simply sitting in the olive groves. It is an honest introduction to what Ayurveda actually feels like, without the clinical intensity of the deeper programs. For many guests, this also provides a useful introduction to how longevity retreats differ from traditional wellness holidays.
Yoga Therapy The Healing Movement

Who it is for: People with specific physical conditions, chronic back pain, joint problems, structural imbalances that have not responded to conventional approaches.
Duration: 7 days / 6 Nights
What is included:
- Daily one-to-one Yoga Chikitsa sessions medically prescribed, not general yoga classes
- Initial consultation with the resident Vaidya
- One traditional Abhyanga massage
- Full-board meals throughout
Starting from €1,100 per person
Yoga Chikitsa is clinical yoga. Each session is prescribed based on your specific condition and adapted daily based on your progress. Guests have found significant relief from sciatica, joint conditions, and chronic structural pain through this approach particularly in cases where other methods had run out of answers.

The rhythm is steady and intentional. Here is what a typical day feels like.
7:00am — Panchakarma guests begin with medicated Ghee. A clinical step, not a welcome drink it starts the process of loosening deep-seated toxins before treatments begin.
7:30am — The whole group gathers for morning yoga, meditation, and Pranayama in the Yoga Shala. The mountains are in the windows. The day begins quietly.
9:00am — Breakfast. Warm, easy to digest, and chosen for your constitution. Not a buffet decision to make — just food that your body is ready for.
10:00am — Your main treatment. Depending on your program, this might be a Shirodhara session, an Udwarthana massage, a private Yoga Chikitsa session, or a Mukhalepa facial. This is the core of your day.
11:30am — Secondary treatments or quiet time in the gardens. Some guests walk the olive groves. Others rest.
1:00pm — The main meal of the day. Organic, Ayurvedic, substantial. The kitchen prepares it to balance your Agni — your digestive fire — not just to fill you up.
3:30pm — Educational workshops. One afternoon it is the Ayurvedic cooking class. Another is a talk on longevity, or ancient beauty practices, or managing the stress triggers that follow you home after a retreat.
6:00pm — Light dinner. Soups, grains, something easy. Then guided relaxation or gratitude practice.
8:00pm — Satsang. Group meditation, educational talks, or quiet spiritual reflection. The day winds down.
9:00pm — Digital detox. Screens off. The adrenal system needs this. Most guests find it difficult for the first night and essential by the third.
Ayurvila sits on a restored Mallorcan finca, a traditional stone farmhouse, in 10 hectares of countryside outside Manacor. Olive groves. Almond trees. Buddha shrines along the walking paths. The Porto Cristo coast is 10 minutes away. The mountains are visible from the yoga shala.
The property accommodates a maximum of 14 Ayurveda program guests. That is not a quirk of the building it is a medical decision. It means you have daily access to the doctor. It means the team knows your name and your treatment plan. It means the silence is genuine, not performed.
Every apartment has a private terrace or balcony. The Mediterranean climate means you use them in the mornings with herbal tea and in the evenings watching the sun drop behind the hills.
If you want to explore the island on your own schedule, hiring a car makes sense. The hidden calas, the Tramuntana mountains, and the Rafa Nadal Academy are all within easy reach. Porto Cristo beaches are 10 minutes away.

People come here at different moments in their lives. But there are patterns.
Executives and founders who are performing well professionally but are privately aware that their body and nervous system are running close to empty.
Professionals with a chronic physical condition, gut issues, skin disorders, recurring back pain, or autoimmune symptoms who have been through the conventional route and are ready to try something that works from a different starting point.
People at a significant life transition, a career change, the end of a long project, or a period of grief or recovery who want to use the moment to genuinely reset rather than just take a break.
First-timers who have been curious about Ayurveda for years and want to experience the real thing under a qualified doctor in an authentic environment rather than a diluted spa version.
Anyone who knows that something needs to change but cannot quite articulate what. Sometimes the body knows before you do.

Individual experiences vary. Results depend on personal health, program selection, and level of engagement during the stay.
Is Ayurvila suitable if I have never done any Ayurveda before?
Yes. The Ayurveda Holidays program is designed specifically as a gentle entry point — fewer treatments, more free time, and a relaxed introduction to how Ayurveda actually feels. If you are new to the system, starting there before committing to a deeper clinical program is the sensible path.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, and many guests do. Single room options are available, and the structured daily schedule means solo guests are fully supported from morning to evening. The small guest capacity means the environment feels naturally personal rather than isolating.
How long do I need to stay to notice a real difference?
Seven days is the minimum for meaningful results. Most guests report a noticeable shift in sleep quality and energy by days three to four. For chronic conditions or deeper work, the 14-day Panchakarma program is recommended — the clinical changes it is designed to achieve take time to develop properly.
Is there a doctor on site throughout my stay?
Yes. A resident Vaidya is present throughout every program. All programs begin with Nadi Pariksha — Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis — and the doctor reviews your progress and adjusts your treatment plan daily.
What is the difference between the Stress Management and Panchakarma programs?
The Stress Management program (7 days) is focused on the nervous system — reducing cortisol, improving sleep, and giving the adrenal system space to recover. It is designed for burnout and anxiety. Panchakarma (14 days) is a full-system clinical purification — it works at a cellular level and is suited to a much broader range of chronic conditions, including gut disorders, autoimmune issues, and deep metabolic dysfunction. If stress and sleep are your primary concerns, start with Stress Management. If you have persistent physical health issues alongside stress, Panchakarma is worth a serious look.
What is the food like and can dietary needs be accommodated?
All meals are vegetarian and Sattvic — organic, warm, easy to digest, and prepared specifically for your Dosha. The kitchen cooks Indian and Indian fusion food: chapatis, parathas, curries, poha, uttapam, broths, and more. Everything is included. If you have specific dietary requirements beyond vegetarian, contact us before booking and we will discuss what is possible.
Do I need to prepare anything before arrival?
Panchakarma guests receive clinical preparation instructions at least two weeks before arrival. This is a medical requirement — the body needs to begin preparing before intensive treatments start. Other programs do not require the same lead time, but feel free to contact us if you have specific health conditions you want to discuss first.
What should I pack?
Loose, comfortable clothing for treatments and yoga. Treatments involve medicated oils — bring darker clothing you do not mind getting oil on. Swimwear for the pool. Walking shoes if you want to use the grounds or explore nearby trails. Screens can be with you during the day, but the digital detox from 9pm is part of the program and expected of all guests.
Ayurvila takes a maximum of 14 guests at a time. That limit is there for a reason it is what allows us to give every person the medical attention, personal care, and genuine quiet that actual healing requires.
If you have been thinking about this for a while, the practical step is simply to check availability for the dates you have in mind. Everything else follows from there.
Space is limited. Personalized medical attention is the point.
